would be going but flying to Barcelona on Friday so can't make it back in time, hopefully put the full team out and smash them 12-0.

Full team, early goal then hold them out and watch out for nerve agents.

Hopefully this will just be a formality.

I expect they may even beat us 2-1 or something silly but as long as we win the tie that's all that counts.

I think Elneny would of been good for this game, help protect the back 4 a bit more, either way though if Ozil and co are up for it chances are we'll get this done.

Wonder if Mkhy will make the game or is he still injured?

Going by the latest news Mkhi would do well to play a game before the end of the season.

CSKA Moscow home record in European competition this season - P7 W4 D0 L3 F6 A7.

They have won at home against AEK Athens, Young Boys, Benfica and Red Star Belgrade. They lost against Lyon, Man Utd and Basel. United beat them 4-1 in Moscow.

Wenger stated at least 2 weeks, not sure if that was before the latest report or since?

Edit: Just saw your post in the Mkhy thread, doesn't sound good.

Luckily Welbeck has had an up tick in performance.

I'd like to see Nketia get a run out in this game if we are comfortable with a half hour left. The lad looks like a proper little poacher, and we should be giving him some experience.

It's been coming for a few years.

At the start of the season I said we should deliberately get knocked out of it, as the distraction of playing on Thursdays would affect our league form. As it turns out our shit away form has affected our league position far more than the EL. We also got shamefully knocked out of the FA cup by one of the worst teams in the Championship.

So I want us to win a trophy, and I want us to get back in the CL. Purely so that we can hang on to the few good players we have, and attract a few more. We will also have a better chance of attracting a decent manager, should by some miracle the club decide to get shot of Wenger.

Xhaka is out of the squad with the flu.

In a way I'm glad as it should mean Elneny starts and with his more defensive nous it will be better for us.

Hope we don't play to negative sitting on the lead, obviously not gung ho but don't want it to be too boring either.

I imagine it'll be .............

Wilshere - Elneny - Ramsey

Ozil - Lacazette - Welbeck or Iwobi (hope Welbeck)

Roma's comeback against Barca at home means that single away goal can be crucial. I hope we are up for this defensively. No idea what the stadium atmosphere will be like.
