This is a game where we are going to spend the majority of the time with our backs against the wall and hope for the best on the counter, in order to successfully do that we'll need to make a few changes starting with the formation as we can transition to 5 at the back when defending with this, as for the goalkeeper I know ospina is the main one for this comp but Cech is a must for this type of game we can't afford for Ospina to be parrying shots into dangerous areas or missing crosses and if it comes to penalty's we can sub ospina on lol, last but not least we have our captain, leader and legend Mertesacker who will be the most important player in this system as we know when it comes to sitting deep he's easily our best defender with crosses and reading of the game and the best in terms of organising the defence, his pace shouldn't be an issue with Kos/Mustafi/Elneny there to protect him and us being sat back for the majority of the game.

Anyways this is just my opinion I'm sure Wenger will go with the likes of Ospina, Xhaka and Iwobi all guns blazing and we'll go 1/2 goals down early and pull one back before City kill of the game towards the end.

Good job we got the job done against the Swedes nice and early so we can rest the team for this. We need to go all out for this to ensure that we get Europe guarenteed next year (just a formality anyway). Plus Wenger can then say he has won every English cup.

Hope there's not a single person who claims to not care about winning this. We should be able to rest the majority vs Ostersunds and can even throw the league game the week after tbh, just f***ing give everything here and bring that trophy home.

It's a game we need to fight hard in the midfield all 90 minutes. So no Iwobi, no Xhaka. I would like to see Wilshere, Monreal, Elneny,Kola and Ramsey all on the pitch. Just fight, make the game as physically as possible. One little chance Ozil could get linked to Auba, and we win 1-0.

Auba will be on the bench.

Can't see how we win this without ramsey, he is key man for this
