Not sure where u get supporting mediocrity from, there's a reason I've only been to 1 game this season (Cologne £15). Just because I'm not going nuts over a game where we were very likely to sneak three points doesn't mean I'm happy with how the club is run.

There's nothing new about this game to go wild over, end of the day I think we were robbed of what would've been a lucky but just about deserved 3 points (due to the fact Watford needed a pen to get a shot on target by 71 mins). I still think we're shit.

this.

good post.

how this team misses cazorla... :-(

If I ever showed that much lack of desire at work as those players I’d be sacked.

You should know by now GA's remedy for a terrible performance, is to revel in the anger and frustration of people getting mad on here.

People should absolutely not be getting mad at this shit show any longer. It's not worth it.

What's the point of getting mad?

Didn't even watch the game, knew Watford would win.

Wenger's arrogance in playing that team against Watford who have improved so much under Marco Silva was shocking

Exactly. I did watch it though, had to walk away from the TV when the 2nd went in.... Have a look in the Xhaka thread to sum up our performance today if interested

Bellerin's reaction to the penalty call sums him and the mentality of this team up. Just standing there smirking and accepting it. How he's not chasing that w***er down and lambasting him for making such a soft decision is just pathetic. Loser attitude oozes out of him.

Overrated player as well. Technically lacking for a Spaniard. No wonder Barca passed on him.

Agree completely I was shouting at the ref on my TV louder than he was. Should have been up in his and the linesman's face I'd understand if he had been booked.

Not a bad result. I was hoping for a draw, but knew that we were big underdogs tonight. At least our GD did not suffer as much as I thought it might. Watford away is not a game we should really expect anything from.

Decided to watch this to see how we weren’t able to a get a point from Watford. From what I saw, I would put the loss down to a combination of players not finishing off their chances and poor decisions from wenger possibly with the team selection but most certainly towards the end of the game.

Wrt finishing chances, had players like ozil and iwobi finished their chances this game would have been more comfortable than it turned out. Because they didn’t, Watford got a penalty they should not have gotten which triggered a chain of events that ended with them coming away the three points

Wrt to the team selection, sanchez should have started if he was fit. If not sanchez then at least ozil since we had xhaka and elneny starting in midfield. Regarding the second half of the game, lacazette should not have come off so soon after ozil came on. Its games like this where I wish we had sold giroud just so the temptation isn’t there for wenger to give him minutes just for the sake of it. Giroud came on too early today imo. Wenger should have given ozil and lacazette more time together to see if they could come up with something. The only time giroud should be used IMHO is when the three points seem secure, when we’re a playing a team that is expected to not give us any trouble, or if we're not winning and it looks like nothing else is working.

games like today makes me feel sorry for players like alexis and lacazette but moreso ozil. Ozil in a team like citys, Chelseas, or even sp*rs would be stellar but because of how the club is managed he is wasted with us.

in terms of scoring, yes, but his ability to create chances is near priceless. ozil needs an environment where his assets are allowed to shine and unfortunately that can't be with us as long as the club persists with its self sustaining model
