That is a loser's mentallity. Winners care not who they face, winners only focus on winning each match whoever they play.

There aren't an awful lot of stories on Henry being Belgium assistant, which is odd given how big a name he is.

One or two 'pundit's did express their discontent about Henry interviewing Belgian players for Sky Sports, despite also being Martínez's assistant, but I don't see the issue.

Players do seem to like/respect him though, particularly forwards Batshuayi and Lukaku speak highly of him and his input.

After the Panama game the squad was given a day off to recover. Batshuayi, however, insisted he wanted to work on his movement and shooting with Henry, who he considers his idol.

He appears to be a role model, someone players respect and listen to. I do find it hard to estimate how big an influence he has on the team's results.
