Belgium are a force, they are excellent. There defense is a worry but they have enough to outscore teams imo

In such a case, you'd hope for a repeat of 2002 or 2014 World Cup.

Because in 2006 and 2010 World Cups, Italy and Spain weren't even the highest scorers of the tournament. Italy was #2 behind Germany. Spain—hold your breath—were 5th highest goal scorers in 2010 behind Germany, Netherlands, Uruguay, and Argentina.

Appalling.

Yeah, hopefully you expect the team winning the WC to do it in a certain eye pleasing manner. The quality of goals by Belgium were fantastic, the variations and the amount of people they can call on for goals.

Luca Toni missed some sitters for Italy in that winning campaign, but at the back and in midfeild they were a dream. I thought they were not bad despite the lack of goals, spain however just bored me when they won. Just over passing style and grinding out results. That wc on a whole was terrible imo

belgium looked great going forward

admittedly not against tough oppo, think theyre trying to throw the last game as the harder draw could be against whoever finishes second in the other group

You can say the quality was not good of the teams which i agree but teams like brazil and france failed to do it in a convincing way against simalr quality . it is how you do it. They look like a team who trust and fight for each other

That was worse than Neymar in the cheating stakes. Even if that was an accident to play it like that shows a high level of deceit from the Panama player.

Awful defending by Panama. They seem to be good enough to start a row only, it seems.

The performance of a weak side with nothing to play for.
