for me, i base my assessments of players on what i see... from game to game. ozil had a good patch this year past, but faded quite markedly late in the year, imo. i was hopoing he'd have a GOOD WC so that he'd be fulla vim n vigor for the season. maybe emery can get more of him than wenger.

what i saw of germany was pretty bad. just pedestrian or poor all around.

only one who looked dangerous was brandt and he kept coming on late.

kroos w/o modric isnt all that, tho still a threat to score.
