More than happy with that (bar Sterlings performance) when you consider the way Tunisia played. What annoyed me more than anything despite all the dark arts going on was the guy who kept bugging the free kick taker by rolling it back and standing about 5 yards away. Just grow up man, you did nothing of substance.

Rashford and Vardy in for Sterling and Lingard

Don't know if Alli is injured or not but we have to pray he isn't cos our back up is atrocious

Maguire didn't put a foot wrong all game. Fantastic performance

Well....clearly you went off for another beer when he made a complete hash of a situation that caused the whole defence to panic like schoolboys, (circa 30mins) but I agree he played well for the rest of the match.

Harry Maguire (centre-back) 5
A threat to the opposition going forward but also occasionally a threat to his own team when he conceded possession in dangerous areas.

BBC rating

He did that early on but got better. 5 is ridiculous

Gareth Southgate has dislocated his shoulder.

Reckon England will top this group.

Belgium play a WF as wing back and nearly paid the price for it against Panama.

Not to mention Witsel getting overran by Panama's midfielders again and again.

England looked a lot more secure at the back and displayed some nice quick one-touch moves throughout the game, straight from the get go.
