Why not?

Koeman would love to stick it to Wenger one more time.

Because Everton won't want to be the reason Liverpool get the CL.

We need to rack up a proper scoreline here, it could come down to goal difference, so what better game to do it than this

We're going to win well but even if it is a dead rubber, Europa League is something we will win next year and we can finish above Maureen.

This!

Everton fans wanted them to lose against City a few years ago, doubt it'll be any different now

Big question: should we start Alexis (if he is fit) and Ozil from the bench here?

They've been playing back to back games for a while now (including midweek). God forbid if either miss the FA Cup final, it's going to be a calamity.

Yup. Rest Ozil and Sanchez. If we can't beat Sunderland at home without Ozil and Sanchez, then that's a sad state of affairs.

Top 4 is virtually gone anyway with Liverpool playing Middlesborough at Anfield, so save players for the FA Cup Final.

(Yes, I know Boro could shock the world and get a result at Anfield, but it's not likely. I'd rather take the sure thing here and go for a cup than risk Ozil and Sanchez for the top 4 and be f***ked for a cup).

Nah, you have to go full strength here just in case Liverpool pull a Spurs.

If 'Pool win, rest everyone for the Everton game, that is closer to the Final anyway - makes more sense to rest them then.

?

Don't all PL clubs play at the same time for the final match day though?

I'd advocate for the opposite: rest Ozil and Sanchez against Sunderland, then go all guns blazing during the last game and hope Liverpool slip up. Rereading my original post, it seems like I'm in favor of resting them against Everton too, but I meant they could use a break against Sunderland to be in top shape for Everton and Chelsea.

Start Alexis. He's my fantasy football captain as it's a double game week and i need the points.

Ozil can be rested

Hopefully many fans boycott this game and don't resell their tickets. Would be nice for TV cameras to capture lots of empty seats at the Emirates. A visual representation of the most horrid campaign under the 67 yr old nutty dictator.
