Where not winning this leg of the tie either.

And I consider myself an optimist.

Playing for Pride is not even in this squads famous mentality.

Cripps wrote:Our only hope is Boateng being fit for this. Guaranteed 2 goals at least for us if he starts.

Then we need some luck to get another 2 and keep a clean sheet as well.

Many people consider him as the best defender in the world.. why would that help us?

Maybe he isn't 100% fit to play, but they have Martinez and Hummels.

edit

Just saw they had to switch Hummels because of an injury.

At least he is a World Champion.

My opinion is that he is even better than Martinez and Hummels.
Not sure how bad Hummels injury is..

No Hummels/Boateng would give us some hope. They would probably play Alaba on his position, Lahm/Rafinha left/right.

I don't know why, but I have a weird feeling we're going to win this and if we're really unlucky, go out on away goals

I love to see Cripps talking dirty about Boateng and Arsenal sure to score at least 2 or 3 goals in one game if he plays ...

But as far as I remember against Bayern ... Arsenal scored 2 goals when Boateng played (in a defense with Alaba as CB and with a handball goal from Giroud) ... and Arsenal scored 4 goals when Boateng wasn't there...

The Messi / Boateng episode is too much in your mind budy..

Still, I don't think Boateng will play this game. It's too soon for him. Maybe he will be sub in the second half if the qualification is assured.

Overall, I don't know if Ancelotti will procede a turn-over or not. Lahm will not be here but Ribéry and Müller could start over Costa and one of Alonso/Vidal/Thiago

Hummels injury isn't a big one. Maybe he will miss the game against Köln this week-end but no more I guess.

Cripps is a good man, but the daily drug use has messed up his brain. Take everything he says with pinch of salt

I've been rightly calling Boateng shit long before that Messi thing. That just highlighted it even more. Who the hell just sits down when a player is running at you? Messi didn't even do a skill or anything.

Boateng is shit. He might look good in the German league against pub sides. Top level football though he's found out.

Yeah sure he is shit, that's why he was best defender for Germany in WC 2014 and EU 2016 or that he was Bayern best defender for 4 years.

I'm sure when you talked about a line-up for Germany here you were included Mertesacker instead of him :rofll:

I think the line-up will be : Neuer - Rafinha, Martinez, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal, Alonso (or Thiago) - Robben, Thiago (or Müller), Ribéry - Lewandowski

Hummels was better at the 2014 WC.

Hummels was better but Boateng was better in the final.
