Hope Ozil plays in this match. We dont need him against Bayern Munich as he is going to be invisible against that midfield.

This.

Play strongest team, win the game (or at least don't even take risk of losing it by fielding weakened team), then move on to next game. Stop fvcking about with squad rotation, get some continuity with similar 11, give us best possible chance to win a trophy.

Just got an update from BBC app saying this was postponed.

Any further News?

Edit: Ffs it's not this. It's the league game. Stupid BBC.

Might be a mistake because I think we're going to need him if we want to advance. Even if he doesn't feature, I won't be too bothered because what I care about more is that he gets limited or, if we're daring, no game time in the next match. Preferably he comes off the bench in our next game but he'll probably start so hoping we put that game to bed as early as possible

No way Alexis will start this one but he will most certainly be on the bench just in case we're chasing the game in the second half.

Ozil this season in the CL - played 6, scored 4, assisted 3. Total = 7.

Alexis this season in the CL - played 6, scored 2, assisted 5. Total = 7.

Guess we should drop Alexis against Bayern too.

Yes because as I completely clear to anyone with a pulse, our involvement in the CL is the definition of pointless. We have a chance in the FA Cup so put all the effort here.

This season, the CL is as open as it has been for probably a decade. I know we have Wenger at the helm, who seems to lose his mind as soon as he hears the UCL anthem. Nonetheless, the big three alongside Atleti and Juve are all relatively easier to beat this season than previous seasons.

The CL is very open this season.

Right so here is the potential situation -

Play a weakened team vs Southampton and most probably lose given our record there. Out of the FA Cup!

Play full strength team vs Bayern and still lose 2 - 3 nil given our record in the last 16 regardless of opposition quality. Out of CL!

That then just leaves the league where we are 8 points off top and given our record here...well we know that story because we have seen it about 12 times now.

Go all out in FA Cup.

Would you be satisfied with the FA Cup only? It's better than no trophies, obviously. Then again, we've won it twice already in the past few seasons, and I believe it's time we pushed forward. It doesn't matter to me if we win the FA Cup, or we don't, this season.

The priority is the CL or the PL. If we can't win either, or we lose it by a whisker, it's not worth it. Simple as that.

I want to win the CL too as much as any of you ugly virgins but come on......140 year old Wenger beating the likes of Bayern, Real, Barca, Man City, Atletco etc over 2 legs???

I am all for optimism but come the f*ck on be realistic.
