Law of averages says any one of us would score at some point, after wolfing down a Christmas dinner and wearing borrowed boots and not doing a warm up !
His scoring rate and chance conversion is one of the best in the league this season especially commendable as he has been a fringe option this season
Stats alone do not prove a point. He is terrible, ok, removing emotion he simply is not Arsenal quality, he is a mid table standard striker at best. His touch is hit n miss, he can't hold up the ball, his interplay is shite. any half decent striker would score loads of goals for Arsenal, doesn't make them good though. Its all well and good scoring against poor teams but he rarely ever manages to do anything against decent teams. Play normally breaks down when the ball goes to Giroud.
He scored against Man U and PSG in November alone.
First time in 4 or so years he has managed a feat like that. The sun shines on a dog's arse some days, doesn't make Giroud good. I have watched him too many times to be impressed by his odd dazzling goal, 10% of brilliance does not and cannot outweigh 90% of absolute waste of space-ness.
