His scoring rate and chance conversion is one of the best in the league this season especially commendable as he has been a fringe option this season

Stats alone do not prove a point. He is terrible, ok, removing emotion he simply is not Arsenal quality, he is a mid table standard striker at best. His touch is hit n miss, he can't hold up the ball, his interplay is shite. any half decent striker would score loads of goals for Arsenal, doesn't make them good though. Its all well and good scoring against poor teams but he rarely ever manages to do anything against decent teams. Play normally breaks down when the ball goes to Giroud.

He scored against Man U and PSG in November alone.

you must be joking, we're playing west brom and its taken 92mins for him to score!! Stuff of champions, scraping a win against such elite opposition. So excited ...........

Chelsea struggled massively against Pulis' team too. They were time wasting from first minute. They were playing in two banks of five. This was a great result coming in the light of two recent defeats. That was a great finish from Giroud and as i hwve said earlier his chance conversion is one of the best in the league this season. We should have crossed a lot more instead of trying to thread the eye of the needle.

+1

We get giroud is hated, but maybe people didn't actually tune in to the last two games to see the fuckery that was happening. If Giroud wasn't on the pitch, that header wasnt being made and I'm probably not the only one who noticed we weren't doing f**k all else against WBA

my sentiment, but glad he scored. we needed the win, just wish he didn't start. it's like playing with 10 1/2.
cheers!

First time in 4 or so years he has managed a feat like that. The sun shines on a dog's arse some days, doesn't make Giroud good. I have watched him too many times to be impressed by his odd dazzling goal, 10% of brilliance does not and cannot outweigh 90% of absolute waste of space-ness.

Most wont agree....but I thought kos and specially gabriel did well with the little threat they faced. We needed a clean sheet and people need to leave gabriel alone

To be fair I think Giroud as a sub when we are chasing the game is not a bad prospect because he is so good in the air, but anything else, no thanks.

Big G scores the winner with limited service. And they still complaining lmao.Haters gone hate. Rambo comes on causes more problems in 10 minutes than xhaka and coqulin done all game. Additionally Ozil all of a sudden came alive.Bring back real cms.

This 2 holding player nonsense is trash & needs to stop.We have conceeded 8 games in a row an epl record by the way. Its not offering any protetcion than playing attacking football with higher risk.Either drop coquelin or xhaka. We cant keep subbing one off to bring on real cms to when we are desperate for goals.

Dont know why everyones hating on iwobi most active in first half trying things.I rather that then nothing been done .At least we saw him. He covered ozils 1st half no show. Infact him and sanchez were most active offensively and tried things first half.No problem with youngster performance.

Perez getting fitter and fitter looking more and more up for playing.Needed a win no matter how it came. Big G scored so all is good for now.Time to check other game results.

Apperantly there was a big argument between gabriel and perez as gabriel was pissed off with him for not tracking back. I like Gabriel and we need characters like him
