Maybe I don't understand the rules of football completely but I still don't see how Adams running into Xhaka is a penalty. Adams had lost control of the ball and was trying to run it down. That was incidental contact in my humblest of opinions.

Great win. Arsenal is obviously more talented than Stoke across the board and it showed today.

Xhaka didn't throw that elbow. Adams ran right into it.

Thought it was gonna be a long journey home after the pen which looked like he ran into the foul to get it but I forgot this is a different side mentally. Stoke werent that shite though, Crouch gave me a scare and Shaqiri was causing a bit of trouble. On the other hand we shoulda had a couple more, Ozil missed a nice chance before they went up one but his header was cheeky tbh lol.

Clear pen, even when we win we try to excuse our players mistakes lol

Thought the game overall was good, much better than some of the drab recent performances and we actually had good movement. Theo was back on form, looked livelier and made some nice moves. Coquelin was an absolute beast and overall he and Xhaka worked very well together, forget the pen it didn't cost us in the end.

Drop Ox for Everton because we need pace counter to destroy City like Leicester and Chelsea have just done.
