Bookmarked for future fap material. We, nay, Sanchez really became ruthless in the second half.

Funny you say that because near the end of the video the commentator says, "[Alexis] gave him the facial as well." :rofll:

Count ourselves lucky he made the adjustment to the classic Arsenal false no9.

When has Giroud scored a hat trick? once in 5 seasons if that?

Sanchez 1st season up front, already a hat trick.

You're arguing against nobody here DG. No-one thinks Giroud is even close to Alexis' level, and everyone agrees that Alexis as our striker is when we play our best football. Giroud is a good plan B for when we're need to try something different.

I'm advocating people stop clamouring for Giroud just because we don't score 10 goals by half time.

As I've repeated many times here, Sanchez's early season performances showed us what we're capable of if we keep the faith.

A-F among others constantly call for Giroud at half time, I'm just saying he's only useful if we go full r***rd hail mary to nick a last minute goal.

(That's not a dig at A-F or whomever, we've had these convo's already)

Sanchez is certainly capable of anything at any moment but for a long time in this game we looked weak and toothless with no real plan or presence up top. In the end we smoked em with some lovely goals and got a nice looking scoreline but it doesn't suddenly mean Sanchez works up front in every game. I also still think he can do just as well from the wing.

Rather Wele than Giroud but he's not even close to the squad for the last 4 months so Giroud was the one mentioned.

Yh, still maintain it.

Sanchez brought some world class moments in the end but for most of the game we were shit up top and weak with no real plan.

Quality goals but not a quality performance.

Sorry lol had to do it, was only messing.

But you can keep the presence, I'd rather have the 3 goals and the momentum.

Sanchez gives you a fluid front and that's why earlier in the season Walcott and Ozil were running riot, we need to get that back, we were WC with some of our performances back then.

The place we really need presence is in midfield.

Yeah and in the end it worked today, West Ham got a bit giddy when Carroll got a tap in and they allowed us more space which is when Alexis can run riot as CF. We saw the same in the first half against Chelsea, sometimes it works great and we play some amazing stuff. When it doesn't work we do look completely lost and we look very poor.

Somehow need to find the answer for the games without a lot of space, that's where I think the Wele CF - Sanchez wing lineup can work for us and I think over 38 games that'd do us better than Sanchez up top with Ox/Theo wings. Dunno, only time will tell but we've been really poor lately and it's painful to watch at times. Some glorious goals recovered it today at least :goal1:
