umm no.

If both PSG and Arsenal win the last match then it comes to goal difference.

PSG could go on a rampge and win the group on GD.

So not entirely in our hands.

No

If PSG win, we are 2nd regardless

Why? on away goals?

Cos it's based on head to head as it has been for years in the CL

Do people not know the rules?

Champions League counts head2head not GD. They have 2 away goals and we have 1. We're finishing 2nd in the group

PSG to bottle it against Ludogoretz

Ok we finish second place then.

Barca it is since Bayern finishes second place. I want to see us playing RM though.

Real probably finish 2nd as well

Because GD doesn't matter, it's done on head to heads.

They scored more at our ground didnt they so its worth more. My bad. Flash scores have us 1st though so I dont know what happened

PSG have scored more away goals against us than we have against them.

It's because of this rule that they are top of the group.

The only thing that stops PSG from finishing first is if they were to draw or lose at home with us drawing or winning away from home against Basel.

-If PSG lose and we get a draw or better, we will finish first.

-If PSG draw, and we win, we will finish first.

-If PSG win at home (which is highly likely), a second-place finish is a certainty.

LOL.

Called a draw, no we couldn't BS our way into a win this time.

We are trying to luck our way to a title, its not going to happen.

2 months ago when Theo / Alexis / Ozil were playing worldie football we'd of been begging for PSG, now we scrape a draw with a penalty and an own goal, nothing from open play.

This is why I stopped watching at half time, I'm not doing Project Giroud anymore full stop.

Why didn't iwobi just head it out?

He was facing outwards, it wasn't too high but he just ducks and it flicks him on the way in

Ridiculous.

Garbage player.

This was the game for the fringe players to make a case for themselves but you can't really say with full confidence that any of them should be starting ahead of their respective competition.

Ramsey, Gibbs, and Ospina did ok but nothing special
Giroud, bar being involved in us winning the penalty, did nothing of note that I can remember
Iwobi was like a 12th man for them
Jenkinson - average

Wrt the subs:
Ox did well
Xhaka contributed nothing
Didn't notice Walcott much but most of this is because we were pretty much playing in our half for the majority of the time he was on
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

Garbage player.

Think Ospina shouted to leave it and he got caught in two minds, instead he ducks, but is too late and as a result a deflection takes the ball past Ospina.

Like I said 10-15 minutes prior to this incident he was already struggling; missed some basic touches, looked leggy, lacked concentration and should have been substituted around the 55th minute, 60th the latest. The only man who didn't seem to notice was Wenger who - instead of making a proactive substitution - made a reactive one.

I dont have the numbers for in a row but if we go count the number of games since last season, we have been woeful.

This season is pretty much going the same as last season.

The difference is that the league is stronger this year, so we are not even going to finish top 4 at the end of the season.

Our attack struggles to break down a strong defence they are the last team we want.
