Typical spineless performance v Jose/man Utd at OT?

Really poor performance, there was literally 15 minutes leading up to the goal where we didn't touch the ball.

Man u were shite as well.

Ox comes on, beats Rashford at right wing corner, puts in a purler and Giroud destroys Jones to thump it home off his head.

First shot on goal for the second half.

In the grand scheme of things, it's better than a loss, it puts them right back into midtable and another blow to their confidence, but for us it wasn't a promising performance at all.

Poor team selection and sub timing from Wenger lost us the chance at two points today.

Also, Darmian somehow managed to stay on the pitch for 66 minutes even though there were 3 or 4 separate occasions to give him a second yellow.

In prior seasons taking a point at old trafford after an international break would have been a good performance but now it feels like a disappointment.

Because they are shit. Why should we ever feel happy dropping 2 points against a mid table team?

lol this is a good point

worst weve played all season and the best theyve played all season and we nick a point

would've been more happy if we beat spurs previously but to come to a place where we historically struggle against a manager who we've never beat in the prem and coming away with a point is decent

People are really over thinking this....we were not playing really bad. We are really not that good. This season we have been by far the luckiest team in the league and when this luck ends I can see us going 6-7 matches with no win. We cant control a match and we dont create much. We have no fluency in our play. Our luck in the last 2 matches will end against PSG and that will be the start of the end

A point at a 'potential' title rivals home turf is never bad .... lots of comments about how shit Utd are, that's a massive overstatement, with no champions league and with players and a manager, many off whom only met each other in August, they are very likely to get better and better ...

We are a good 'flat track bully' if we can avoid defeat against our rivals we will be there or there about come May ...

At the end of the day performances mean very little ... only the end result matters ...

couldnt be further from the truth. If you rely on luck with no game plan and say I will only address the problem when the luck ends, then its too late. We were super lucky today and once again we were scared entering old trafford. after last season we should have been up for it. Also its major concern that our manager cant read a game and only change things when the team is losing. For solid 20 mins it was defense against attack and he watched until we concede. We have been very lucky against the last 2 good teams we played. wE have no actual pattern of play. How anyone can watch this team and think they can win a league is beyond me. Right now we have the highest conversion rate in the league and far higher than our normal rate. this wont last. we have been extremely lucky with so many decisions. This wont last

what? we were clearly the better team against Spurs and would have easily won that match if not for that stupid penalty.
yesterday we were lucky, yeah, but definitely not against Spurs.
Arsenal haven't won a trophy since 6 August 2017 and haven't won a big game since 8 March 2018.

Leicester were an exception, a fluke.

Our shit performances have caught up to us. My worry is that Wenger will allow the team to limp forward and will only make changes when it becomes impossible for us to win the league or our CL qualification comes under threat.

Yeah we have reached the level of saying there is still chance we can fluke it and every good team will under perform. This January window is vital and we need to buy an attacker who can beat players and score and a left back minimum.
