this and super annoying.

we should have won today considering the circumstances of both teams coming into the game. the fact that our subs made a point look even more likely doesn't help ease the pain either

Should have won, Girouds lack of dedication/energy coming off the bench made me sick.

We really should sell him and get a new striker tbh, the failure to get one in summer will come back to haunt us.

These guys went 3-5-2 on us and got every second and loose ball without fail. These 3-4/5 formations. Makes the likes of average passers like wanyama, kante, matic time and space to build. No pressure was on wanyama most of the game plus with extra bodies he had passing angles. Shit was annoying. Its pissing me of this formation.

You just have to be patient with it, its made for countering if a team goes hard at them, we were taking the right approach 1st half, by playing our game but not over reaching ourselves.

I think the only thing that was missing is our usual quick tempo give and go passing from our starting line up which was disappointing.

They werent using it for counter they just used it for territorial gain, attacking and to nullify us. They didn't come to play counter. These f***ers tried it . We were the ones countering. Fully abused ozil shit defensive know how. Also are full backs not actually going like for like screwed us. Poch got us good. Xhak and coq had to sit because they are average offensively and couldn't risk turnover ,leaving space as they were out numbered regularly. We also did not abuse them on the wings with switch plays. Our offsides count was very high. We need to work on timing runs. Had we got a few balls over the top accurately we would of played our normal game. But we just caught too many offsides.Essentially we didn't use what xhaka was bought for.

The sub's made the game offensive but it was just pendulum swinging stuff. That was the high risk needed to break the game and formations. I'm not mad at the draw it was that or 1 goal win margin. I'm mad at not dealing with 3-5-2.We did not adapt and change the way we played to force them to change formation. That's my peeve. 3 at the back needs punishment with balls over the top f***ing find it an insult. Maybe thats just the Saturday match day wing forward in me talking. But 3 at the back feels like mockery to me. Have to bring back long ball footy.

I'm putting bounty on these 3 at the back bullshit.Needs to die.

Missed opportunities:
1. Iwobi one on one with the keeper
2. Ozil off the Walcott deflection
3. Giroud header to Lloris
Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.

Iwobi should've done much better.

Don't remember the Ozil one.

I remember the one from Sanchezs cross which he put wide and the half chance off the rebound from Theos shot which was difficult

Giroud was difficult as well. Those type of headers from those crosses only go in if the keeper comes out ala v Ludogerets. If they stay whete they are, easy save

The volley after the Theo shot. Very harsh to say he should have scored. Little reaction time, high up and on his weaker foot.

we may or may not have what it takes. as ever, Arsenal are a quality side. whether we can push into the elite is the question.
after a less than stellar outing fanbase yelping like a dog thats been whipped too oft is a f***ing drag and makes the site unfun.
