Missed Cazorla. A lot of tired players. No urgency. Boro parked the bus.

Missed an incisive passer in midfield. A lot of unmotivated players. No passion whatsoever. Boro could have easily scored 3, if not for the octopus Cech. Wenger using tactics with reasoning knows only to himself.

We desperately need a foolproof plan against teams that park the bus
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

The problem for me is that as a team we don't recognise when we're not playing well and adapt our play accordingly.

When you're not playing well, those intricate little 1-2s are not going to come off. You need to keep it simple. We also seemed strangely averse to shooting from the D in spite of numerous opportunities to shoot from there. When the opposition is parking the bus and you're not playing well enough to get through, shots from the D are probably the best chances you're going to get >.<
Go Cannons!!

Just like you go missing whenever anything about Wenger needs to be criticized, but gladly post when there's reasons to kiss his ass.
Let's not go there again.

Don't see how Wenger is to blame for that one. There was a substantial difference in talent between the two sides. Our guys looked sluggish and effed it up in the final third.

When we look back at the end of the season and wonder why we are 10-15 points behind #1 spot, this is why. 2 points dropped here, 2 points dropped there, it adds up. Great victories like those against Chelsea (3-0), Utd (last season, 3-0) and City (2-1) end up feeling pyrrhic because of games like this where we can't get the 1-0 we need.

We saw the Sanchez's limitation as a striker today.

A well organized defense will be tough to break. He is not a instinctive striker and needs space to operate.

He also does not offer an aerial threat so teams can stay compact and simply play is for the passing lanes.

Also, a really selfish and tunnel vision game by Walcott.

They were very compact defensively. Hard team to break down. Couple of thoughts:
We need another creative central midfielder for when Cazorla is injured. That's either Wilshere or we buy someone. We are short of creative players in the center.
I missed Giroud. He'd have helped win balls in the box. We are too short against these teams without him. Not as a starter but as a late sub.
Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.
