Other than the one time when both Mustafi and Kos went for the same ball once again and messed up, they were absolutely brilliant.

Great game. After a long while, just loved seeing the game Arsenal put on display.

Sad that Coquelin got injured, hope its minor. His pressing is absolutely worldclass and he is passing well too.

Gibbs was good after coming on.

Giroud is no more a fit for this team. Behind sanchez and perez for me.

gibbs winger role is a nice new wrinkle... hes got skill.

sanchez is ozils assist man.

mustafo/koz working well... had theat screw up that needed bellerins speed, and a little lax late on when letting batshuayi through (though that was a nice through pass by the mophead)

Others have mentioned this before when talking about Barca, how when they do lose the ball how well they press to get it back.

Lots of folks love Alexis because of his work rate off the ball and usually it would be Giroud too slow, or Ox and Theo only pressing sometimes and Ozil not really interested but I am really impressed with how Theo worked off the ball today. With his ridiculous pace I don't think anyone likes him buzzing around them forcing them to make a quick decision.

The high pressing was my big take away from this game, great game by Theo and lovely close control/decision making by Iwobi in tight spaces. :arse flag.gif:

Giroud was a catastrophe when he came on though, let's face it.

That second goal is the kind of football we're looking for, we used to score like that all the time. Chelsea can choke on it.

And yes, Walcott needs to show this energy every game. Great from him today.

imho this was our best performance since the 2-1 against Barcelona 2011.

Iwobi is my new favorite player, what a talent
Arsenal haven't won a trophy since 6 August 2017 and haven't won a big game since 8 March 2018.

Iwobi is everything Chamberlain is not.

Iwobi has the pace, the skill but also the BRAIN. We were crying out for an intelligent player like that for a while.
