28/02/16 | Manchester United 3-2 Arsenal | Premier League

Hi, new poster here, after today i just felt i had to say something. Its painful to admit it, but our team simply isn't good enough. After we come 3rd or 4th, in the summer I would have a mass clearout there, i would dispense of the services of Walcott, Ox, Ramsey, Merts, Arteta, Flamini, Campbell and Giroud.I know its an awful lot in one go, but I don't think any of them should play for Arsenal again. Along side them should be Wenger, I just don't see him turning this around. I can also see Ozil and/or Sanchez wanting to leave as well.

He is our 2nd best passer and assistant. With him in the middle we don't lose too many balls because he and Coquelin are safe passers. Players like Ozil, Sanchez and Ramsey are gamblers that always try to do some risky things when having the ball. Everytime these three lose the ball, Coquelin and Cazorla would cover. After Cazorla's injury we have Ramsey in the middle and Ox or Walcott in Ramsey's usual right wing position. This makes one extra risktaker and one less safe player. I think that's why Wenger bought Elneny, but he still need more adaptation. Anyway, Campbell is a safe passer. Much safer than Ox or Walcott. I wonder why Wenger did not play him lately.

Not saying we don't miss Santi but even he can't do anything when you have players like Walcott and Giroud who don't move or show any desire to get stuck in up front. The two positions everyone was calling out for in the summer is coming back to haunt us. Who would have guessed.

Job well done Wenger

Even if he is right about this "expensive" United midfield, then what about WBA, Norwich, Southampton and Hull? Expensive as well?

It will be great, but I doubt it. We have just bought a CM last month.

Plenty of twists and turns still to happen in this years title chase, anyone of the four contenders can win it.
Maybe what we need is to accept the end of the Wenger era WHATEVER the outcome .
Not change for changes sake but a new beginning.

I'm sorry but Elneny can piss off right to the bench. Have fun making a wage while we buy a dominant, world class CM. We have the cash to pay double, we need to.

The only way not winning the title will be even slightly ok is if city win even then Wenger has to leave but if he wins the title he stays but that's looking increasing unlikely we probably only have a 5 percent chance imo

Big clubs have compition so we need veretti esp as caz is getting old and it has been confirmed that ramsey isn't his successor
