Barcelona have a weekend Liga game vs. Sevilla coming up after ours. I'm wondering if they'd a Messi-less side against us and go for 3 points on the weekend. Then again, they are 8 points ahead of Atletico in the league, so they don't really have to.

---------------------------Cech--------------------------
Bellerin--Mertesacker--Koscielny--Monreal

------------------Coquelin--Ramsey-----------------
-----------------------------Ozil---------------------------

Campbell-------------Walcott-------------Sanchez

Not worried about Mertesacker as we'll be sitting deep and Coquelin will be in front of him, just use the same game plan against Bayern at home and hope for the best.

That's usually it but since Monaco last season and Bayern the year before that when we've been battered at home I'm less confident.

Giroud up front we gonna struggle to break but we have no other options and I think we need him for set pieces both ways.

I wouldn't be surprised if Giroud grabs a goal

Except for 10-11 when we won 2-1 at home we had 47% possession and 11 attempts (10) on target over Barcelonas 10 (7) on target.

It was pretty even but I though we looked fairly comfortable considering its Barcelona.

no need they will win the league the refs will do their best to make that happen

Giroud has to start for me. He is in decent form and played a big roll in almost every big game we won apart from the M Utd one. Also Barca are mostly midgets apart from Pique unless Mathieu starts. As for counter attacking i have a feeling Barca won't be trying to dominate the game as much as Bayern did in the group stage, but we still have Theo and Sanchez. I would also switch Alexis to RW so he can finally stop cutting inside every time he has the ball. As for Ox/Welbeck i'd rather not see them start. Ox because he is wasteful with the ball and we already have Sanchez starting, and Welbeck because he is fresh back from injury and simply isn't a good finisher (would like to see him in 2nd half though). Rest of the team picks itself.

Prediction: Ramsey to be MOTM (Hollywood trying to impress Luis Enrique after reading Metro/Express bullshit links from back in January) :sneaky2:

I just hope we don't concede early.

Being at the game, it'll be a dull game with them having most of the possession passing sideways and whatever.

We have to provide the excitement here. Hope they ignore all Wenger says.
