But this is why I think starman is a wum. He knows anyone who does it after a loss will be vilified as it'll be seen as that guy is happy we lost and laughing at fellow posters.

If he was genuine, he'd do it after wins and losses.

i think the issue would be the poster's choice of words...

someone who can rationally pt. out ( no, hysterics are not rational)
their view on why Arsenal might lose to a specific opponent,
and then post w/o obvious egomaniacal glee, that the result was indeed
according to their prediction.

i think i recall someone more or less posting like that after bayern skewered us in Germany and they were not villified.

I have no interest in propergating bad feelings about the arsenal
Like good stoic people we were until the internet came along I take my fears to my pillow
My purpose of coming on here is a nudge to people how good we were, are and can be
I have not been on very often lately because I have been trying to catch up in the taxi after 2 weeks off at Xmas with electrical problems
I have been off again because the heater matrix is playing up ( dull I know)
I am 52 years old for fucksake
I don't flip flop on a result good or bad and a reminder to some who are occasionally guilty of it would seem is something I like to try and pass on as the arsenal way.
I still remain fulfilled enough not to come on to wum as you put it

Those with enough interest will know anyway and those that don't care never will
I honestly believe that at our level a good degree of self belief comes from everything surrounding the club
That's why I get so bloody frustrated with wenger when he gives reasons why we may drop points etc
It gives the impression at the back of the mind that winning doesn't matter
It does
It's everything
That's what I want them stepping on the pitch thinking

The thing is there are far more people saying things along the lines of "we have no chance", "we're going to lose" etc than people saying "there is absolutely no way we don't win this".

Mike Dean, gooney, Rowdy etc are always so quick to predict the worst and all of them actively revel in our failures, so when they're proved wrong they deserve to be called out. If people were being really cocky and saying how nothing bad was going to happen then they deserve to be called out too when it does (and this has happened in the past).

At the moment the doom-mongerers are far more prevalent and vocal.

But the ref also has a job to do, and for me it seems that 70% our games the refs dont do their jobs; and its not in favor of our opposition. The ref there is the reason where behind, no two ways about it.

excuses....that pen could go either way. Look at our squad and theirs and the cost, look at our wages and theirs. In our most crucial league game this season at home we have managed zero shots on goal.....zero shots. Always excuses. sad thing is wenger has already his excuse and I expect him to make an absolute fool of himself today. He never ever had any grace, but he has never been this pressured and embarrassed as he cant use money as excuse now. sadly our fans will fall for it....ZERO SHOTS ON GOAL

Mate. Its our fault we haven't scored yes. But the foul on ozil was far more clear than the penalty for vardy. It was within the same run of play. It IS the refs fault we are losing.

We are simply not good enough mate and havent progressed in years. We are 8 points behind Leicester after 26 games. That is embarrassing no matter how you twist it

That new ruling of awarding the points after 49 mins is a bit strange isn't it

Merked? You mean me being right about him being benched now because he's really not that good. Kudos to him though for his first big goal in three years!

Their game plan almost perfect except for Simpson cuz he sux. Proud of our boys and as much as I can't stand the donkey, he put in work while Sanchez and Ozil were nonexistent for the most part

Simpson got the 2 softest yellows I can recall a player getting, had Drinkwater gone, fine but Simpson should not have been sent off for that, BTW Monreal should have gone too for that penalty, which if it wasn't, why wasn't Mahrez booked? It wasn't 1 of those where there's just incidental contact, it was either a foul or a dive

Get used to in the champions league
Have a look at van Persie getting sent off in barcelona 10/11
