We're not creating quality chances though. Sure, some of them could have gone in another day, like Alexis's shot but other than Koscielny's header we didn't have any inexplicable miss.

Ozil's miss from about five yards out was criminal.

Ozil should of buried that chance.

I assume you mean the long ball from Alexis. It was a good chance but he exceptionally did well to control the ball and hitting it midair after that control isn't easy. More importantly we don't usually create that way, which makes it cool but obviously won't happen everytime.

No I mean the flick on he received from Giroud's header

Again, not really a chance when you look how it was created. Barely reached to weak header, which was probably a shot in first place.

"Arsenal chance" was that Walcott-Özil-Alexis-Özil connection that was saved by last ditch Van Dijk tackle, leading to Alexis shot I mentioned before. That was a good organisation, we didn't have much like that recently.

Don't blame the ref.

We had enough chances to win the game, but did not take them.

I'm not blaming the ref for the result. That's down to us being shit.

But just needed to know how bad Mason really was.

Reminded me of his legendary performance v Everton a few seasons back where he was terrible. We still won the game but he was so bad.

Has to be the worst ref surely

They fouled us left and right, could have gotten two caution yellows. Alexis spent almost the same amount of time on his back as he did on his feet. To his credit he only started to make a big deal about it after about the 6th one.

Also exact stoppage was suspect.

Worse they zoomed in so you could see his smug clueless smile.

I just saw that the player who hacked down Ozil in the 85th minute didn't get booked after he allowed play on.

we ended up with more yellows than them - complete joke
whistle blown on 96 mins despite 'stopping his watch' during inj time - complete joke
whistle blown when team is crossing ball into box - complete joke

pisstake of a game from the ref. like cripps said, still not the reason for the result but he was absolutely dreadful.
