Time to buy the Koln RB, LB, CB and striker and then sell them to Gladbach tbh

Agüero scored in the league one goal and made one assist against us since Mertesacker played here .. AFAIK

People say this everytime we are up against a team with a pace merchant and it hardly ever happens.

Aguero is not just some dumb mid-table pace merchant. There's also no Coquelin in front of him.

Tbh 1-2 of them could be useful here.
And if Arsenal pay the "english taxes" you can actually have every player you want besides Köln Jesus and give them for free to Gladbach I don't care :sneaky2:

2 goals in 2 league matches (in the past 2 seasons) where we've attempted to play an open match against them.

So it's 2goals and 1 assist for Agüero in the eight league matches we played against them since Mertesacker joined us .. not impressed

I doubt both of them featured in all of those 8 meetings.

Its not gonna be an open game anyway, if we wanna win that is. Worked wonders when we backed off em last time.

I really don't care .. all I wanted to point out was that your point is imo not valid even if they both only played in four league matches against each other.

I fail to see how that invalidates my point. Aguero, with his skill and pace, will on most occasions get the better of Mertesacker.

If your claim would be correct why didn't they humilate us regulary with Mertesacker on the pitch vs Agüero besides the 6:3 all of these results look close (if you scroll down on my link)

I don't think all the other players would just stand by and allow Aguero and Mertesacker to go at it.
