Them having Toure is a big bonus, us having Theo back and Bellerín fit is a bonus too.

If they can wheel out aguero for 5 minutes, I'll be more worried, but I this has been one of the better times to play them in recent years.

Not the sort of time that Floyd mayweather would have picked, but closer to it than we've ever had.

Watching Ozil and Silva go at it in such a big game would be a joy for a neutral.

City have conceded the second most amount of goals among top seven. If we keep our backsides shut, we will score.

Nah

Play Flim Fam at ten, ping high balls up to him so he can bang in screamers.

3-0 at HT, deploy Chambers at striker and everyone else defends and we shut up shop. Chambers goes on a mazy run that gives Demichelis PTSD before chipping Hart to make it 4.

And the statement, accompanying pictures of Agüero taking part in training, added: “Provided there is no reaction, (City boss) Manuel Pellegrini will hope to have Agüero available for the trip to the Emirates Stadium, where he hopes to break his record for most goals scored in a game”

Pretty much lost it already.

It's how we react in the games after that I'm more interested in.

Which would be a better tactic against city? the high press, or the concede possession and counter game?

High press. We're never dominated by them, it's almost always a good open game with both teams seeing a good amount of the ball. I've always enjoyed the city fixtures because we're never caged to the point of frustration, and we're never dominant to the point of frustration (i.e. coming up against a parked bus).

I have more faith in our defence than there's.

Is Yaya the same player he was?

Aguero has been in and out, very different from Sanchez' injury.

I'm fairly confident. Just hoping things click.

Sit back, press them in the final third, have the wingers tucked in defending, long ball out to Theo

Mert. must not start if it's going to be an open game. Aguero will roast him alive.

Every game you see this about the BFG including from myself too - but yet he always plays. Just hope he keeps up his good form and keep the brain farts of trying to win the ball (by knicking it) high up to a minimun.

People say this everytime we are up against a team with a pace merchant and it hardly ever happens.
