I really wouldn't call our second half performance terrible. Maybe we were too wasteful in the final third but Villa weren't threatening for once.

It's too early to think about other matches. I hope Leicester beats them.

Oh Dear God no.

There are plenty of opportunities for them to drop points... Which they will.

Against chel*** can never be one.

comfrotably won the game without getting out of 1st gear...
not gonna complain that we didn't go all out in the 2nd half.
3 points in the bag, & temporarily top of the league.

don't think wenger wanted to embarrass his boy garde.

This.

We still looked the more likely to score over the balance of the half.

Their best chances were a momentary brain fart between cech and Merts + a solo run.

Plus, post European games, teams tend to struggle fitness wise, you could see that we needed to reserve some steam vs a team who didn't have to play during the week abroad. Roll on the next game.

So weird that Ramsey is suddenly playing better at centre midfield.

Cazorla injury is a blessing in disguise, were actually playing with wingers again! Alexis and Walcott on the wings will be great to see.

Same here. It's probably a 95% chance that Leicester will not be in the top 4 come the end of the season so while they are riding high, I'd prefer it of they inflict as much pain and suffering on Mourinho as possible.

Mourinho's defeated, angry and confused husk > being top at Christmas.

Make of that what you will.
