There'd be nothing intriguing about watching an immobile, RB cum CB prone to giving the ball away flounder around as a DM.

Chambers is actually good at dribbling which is hilarious about it all. He's actually good going forward with the ball. The rest would just be a funny watch.

Or Koscielny for that matter. Give him a rest as he's recovering from that knock on his hip and play Gabriel.

Wba and Norwich games have shown we can't take any game lightly.

Yeah, he is actually a very good dribbler, that's true.

He's still very young and people are going in waaaaay too hard on him. As we often do to our kids, which is a shame.

This.

Having said that, a few players need to be rotated.

I'd rest Koscielny and Giroud for sure , give Walcott a start up front again with the Ox and Campbell on both sides. Campbell needs games, the more games he plays the better he will be.

Plus running Giroud into an injury is silly, he's been good off the bench so he can sit until/if it is needed.

Koscielny for Gabriel is obvious, Koscielny is an injury prone player who has been getting hits.

Some people are calling for Ozil to rest but really, Ozil has to start. There are no easy games and he can get plenty of rest in the 8 days we have until City.

The only other position I'd consider a rotation is right back. I feel bad for Debuchy cuz really Bellerin hasn't been that good to justify starting over him but with the City game on Monday I want Bellerin to play and maybe get a confidence boost if he performs well.

That's my 2 cents.
Wembley:
Community Shield @6-8-'23 = 1*-1 Manchester City

Emirates Stadium:
First game @10-9-'11 = 1 - 0 Swansea
Most memorable game @24-2-'22 = 2 - 1 Wolves
Last game @09-03-'24 = 2 - 1 Brentford
Next game @03-04-'24 = VS Luton [ Block 121 - Seat 847 ]

Why would you want to drop a striker who just scored a Hatrick you rinse every last drop out of the confidence that would bring until there is nothing left. Forwards go from pay streak to pay streak and you got to let him continue to dig while he is hot.

And for the record I am a big champion of rotation when allowable.

Amavi out for the season.
Richards will also miss out through injury.
Senderos not eligible before January 1st.

Their defense will look something like:
Guzan

Hutton   Okore   Lescott  Richardson

Ciaran Clark could be in there too with Tiago Illori almost certain to be on the bench but that's all they have as devensive options.
