Few of us did. Course it won't be spoken of. If it came from our end it'd get 24 hour coverage.

Though one of our players did point it out to the ref, so hopefully it will be in the report and the spuds get some sort of financial penalty.

I just hope we don't continue with being this poor during first halves after the break.

We have'nt had high possesion since manure game.Swansea should of scored first half & they had more posession than us despite 3-0.
We are playing counter attack getting away with poor 1st halfs.Santi's legs are gone he's just turning into arteta. Soon as it gets to competeive game we get rocked.Flamini at least put himself about despite not being much offensive.

They absolutely bullied us in mid.Kebab deli just looked far from a rookie. Coqulein dont play dm anymore cause he's playing b2b to cover santi's dlp play. But he cant g to forward or link up with ozil so its basically two in midfield.

The system only works with rambo, walcott, bellerin. Playing rambo you almost have 3 mids in the middle.bellerin covers the rw gap left from rambo. With walcott teams play deeper leaving room to get away with lop sided football.

We are getting away with it for now.But any physical high press match we get in trouble. Bayern, zagreb, monaco, west ham, this game.We are getting away with this shit.Aint gonna last.

Ozils getting a break from german national team so he will be fresh. But man we need others to come back. I dont fancy away games if this is how we are turning up.We are just not gonna get away with playing this poorly.

that will still be the case until Walcott returns.

With Giroud up front, normally we wont get a shot until 20th minute, the 1st shot on target will be around 30min

The reason behind is that we are a through-ball team and Giroud doesn't fit in

we won't play the unusual way(cross into the box) until emergency situation

I think we did well to get a result ozil showed his quality again man if we had benzema or cavani i feel they would be scoring 40 + goals here with the vision of ozil . I agree the high press is killing us because giroud doesnt have the pace to play over the top. So its good to have walcott and ox and rambo back with bellerin who is miles better then debuchy id even have jenkinson over him

Its all if's and but's, we weren't good enough, FFS we had our chances but failed to capitalise on them, we will be the nearly men again this season, we have no quality up front to get the goals. But hey Wonga thinks we have so that's ok, if we had a good striker we would have buried the Spuds.

Agreed.

Although I still think Giroud isn't the problem. We can adapt to him playing upfront, it's what happens behind him team defensively that we are missing.

Giroud bullied their defence once he actually got service. This Tottenham side would have been destroyed if we had a half full first 11 out yesterday. To pick up his layoffs in advanced areas quicker.

The lacklustre performances for me are down to 2 reasons and because of the same thing.

1) The same 11 have played more or less the last 4-5 games. The lack of freshness has cost us in playing the game we like to play - sharpness is gone.

2)Those players starting know their is nobody threatening their place on the pitch like it was at prior to our injuries - players where hungry / ambitious knowing the bench was full of players wanting to take their place and it kept everybody playing at a nice level.

Last 4 games we have had only 1 player for each position bar the CB's and that has had a mental effect.

Didn't your lot get away with smashing up the advertisements and throwing them at Spurs fans recently? Mentioned the night of the game and I haven't seen anything since.

Interesting how you say missile, as in one, then blame more of them for it. Was it big? Did it take a lot to lift and throw whatever it was?

Totscum dominance was largely just in the first half... and I hate to say it, but it was mainly down to Cazorla being such a passenger. Any news on him after the game? I've heard it was "fatigue", but he was never in it, even as early as the first whistle!.

They also did this.

Plenty of chances to win that, a few I was suprised didn't end up in the Spuds goal when it looked likely, but at least we didn't lose and keep the pressure on city.

This is our best team in 11 years I think, a few seasons ago when we were top, we were matching the results from the previous campaign and ended up in the same position, this time, its a whole new attitude and will to win, not forgetting improving on results from the previous season, against the same teams.
