Could have been fatigue. Noticed it creeping in during the Swansea game even though he played well in that game

Campbell looks like he's constantly shat himself

He has a good burst of acceleration and looks completely knackered for the entire game

Does anyone know what the implications are if we beat Olympiakos 3-2 in the final game. Would it be decided by goals scored?

Makes you think that maybe Wenger approached this game with an if-we-get-something-we-get-something mentality and took the chance to give some players a rest. From the little I saw from the game, it didn't look like we put in much effort either which to me looks like the players were saving their energy.

Didn't watch the game so could be completely wrong

I hope not because aside from anything else losses of this magnitude can hit morale.

At least if you expect it, then it doesn't become so bad. Wouldn't be surprised if we smash Tottenham this weekend tbh. Had it not been for Injuries and fatigue, I would actually bet on it

Missed the game as I was at the cinema. Looks like I missed a mauling.

Depressing to lose so comprehensively but I predicted we'd lose comfortably before the game. No surprise given our injuries at the moment and Bayern's form. Can't say I'm too upset about this result as the damage was done in our first two games. Deserve to go out for those results alone.

Important now that we compartmentalize this result and beat Spurs at the weekend. The international break can't come soon enough.

We're quite capable of beating Olympiacos by 2+ goals. All this doom and gloom is uncalled for despite the manner of the defeat.

5-1 flattered them but we deserved to lose. First half was guff, awful defending from everyone. Sanchez never got going, Campbell was poor, he's not gonna make it here. Ozil started well but after their second goal went in, his head went down. Second half was better but too late. And we scuffed all but one of our chances anyway.

ooo are we going to get knocked out of the CL 2 games earlier than usual this year? Who gives a shit, Stevie Wonder could see we weren't good enough to compete in the CL this season, it's futile when our squad is not good enough to compete with the elite teams, we waste our time season after season. We can all hope Olympiacos lose v Bayern and then we beat them and be over the moon but why? Whoever we get in the last 16 will do us, by some miracle we got through that no way would we get past the last 8, an absolute waste of time. We have an outside shot at the league so we may as well concentrate on that, save our injury prone players from fatigue etc, I don't know if it is just me but as you can tell I have no interest in our CL campaign and I don't know why some people want us to qualify knowing we can't win it, you wont see any of the profits so what is the motive?

With a fully fit group to choose from, I truly wouldn't fear playing these again IF we met them deeper into the tournament...
