Wenger basically said it's between Iwobi & Joel for the right hand side, stating that Santi is too important in the middle to be moved

cech
bellerin Gabriel koscielny monreal
cazorla coquelin
iwobi ozil alexis
giroud

if wenger has no faith in playing iwobi I would put ozil wide right and stick bielik beside coquelin flamini is finished at arsenal looked way out of his depth against championship opposition imagine what Swansea will do

Last thing we need to do is play players who are a fixture in the first team out of position.

Play Iwobi. He's not very good but he's better than Campbell.

Arsène Wenger has revealed the latest team news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash at Swansea City:

on Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain...
Nothing has changed since after the game. They are out but the scans are today - it's 48 hours afterwards. We hope they are light injuries, but they are out until after the international break.

on Ramsey, Ospina, Arteta…
It's the same for them. You plan for them all after the international break.

on his right-sided options at Swansea…
Campbell and Alex Iwobi. Santi can play there as well but he has become very important centrally. The problem sometimes is that you can destroy two departments if you move one player out. We control the ball better with Santi in the middle.

This is great news. I was scared he was going to move Ozil wide again or something like that.

I have no problem with taking a bit of a gamble on one position. Keep the rest strong, put Iwobi or Campbell on the right. Who knows, they might reach new heights playing with Ozil, Sanchez and Santi.

This is where the dreaded D word comes in. Depth is what wins you titles. All injuries cannot be avoided but contingency plans can be set in motion even before the season begins. If we had a combative midfielder we could have utilized Cazorla on the right but we cannot move him there because we do not have a proper alternative for him at the moment in the middle of the park.

Rotation could help, but players seem to get injured anyway somehow, be it in training or in international duty. Training might the worst for us though. It is just weird there are so many muscular injuries. Our pass and move playing is also physically very demanding, not to mention referees allowing opposition to
get away with so many tackles without cards + our players not taking revenge for each other when for example Özil, Alexis, Giroud or Walcott are targeted.

to people complaining about squad depth...
we've lost 3 people who play on the right side for us. 3!
why are some acting like it's just a single injury that's happened, thus proving we have "no depth"?
how many players are we supposed to have per position in a 23 man squad?

Good point. To be honest we are quite fortunate at this present time it is that position and not centrally. An injury to Santi or Ozil will be very hard to compensate for.

France Under 17 been knocked out of the world cup. Anyone reckon Jeff Reine-Adelaide has a chance of making the squad for one of our next three fixtures? He impressed in pre-season. "If you're good enough, you're old enough"

There has got to be something wrong with Wenger's training methods. Another injury crisis 10 games into a season despite Shad Forsythe.

I'm going for a 2-1 win. Always tough in Wales though. They seem to be wary of Giroud and Ozil. But it's about time we beat the Jacks!

Acc. to Wenger, Ox is out for 20 days and Walcott "a bit longer."

That's out for 3 months probably. :BangHead:
