We made 8 changes from Saturdays line up :dontknow:

Should of been 10/11. We have won the fa cup two seasons in a row so there is not the same pressure to win the so called lesser competitions i.e. the league cup. Going away to Sheffield Wednesday on a Tuesday night, the pitch was always likely to be dodgy and made to suit the home team. I can't believe others do not see where I am coming from. Ramsey is out for the next few weeks/or more. So Oxlade Chamberlain was likely to have a run in the team in that right wing position. So someone please explain to me what the relevance was to start him tonight???

There is always pressure to win trophys
Your history is great but it is always the current season that is the most important
There is no ceiling on wanting to win trophys
We picked up a couple of injurys
They are part and parcel of the game
It is up to the manager to make provisions for eventualitys not to nanny the players that he has at his disposal

No, you're not. This cup is nothing but a distraction and one we don't need to be playing right now. I'd of been raging if Wenger put Ozil, Sanchez, Koscielny ect out tonight.

It's a bollocks cup.

That's the problem
No cup is a distraction it is what a football club exists for
Too much of this bollocks about games not mattering have filtered thru the club
Use your squad in it by all means but I expect every player selected to be fighting for the shirt
No distraction for me going to wembley for a final
I f***ing love it

I agree every Cup is important, however we alway treat this cup with disrespect and then moan when we get whupped.

Agreed, it's not a distraction, and it's still there to be won!

But, it's clearly not as important as the other competitions. It allows the entire squad to be used, and that's just how it is, it's not disrespectful in anyway either.

When have you ever seen Wonga put out a decent team in this competition??? that's why he has never won it. He treats it as a training exercise.

Back to back FA Cups, Ozil, Sanchez and then Cech, we schooled Bayern (yes I know it's typical of Arsenal to do that, but fact remains it was down to how good we were rather than how bad they were). Things really ain't that bad.

FFS, City have the most expensive squad ever and we're matching them. United are playing with Valencia and Young as full backs, and their best striker (in current form) is on par with Wellbeck!

"decent" team? It was youngsters that took us to the league cup final and almost beat Chelsea... knocking out premiership opposition on the way.

Yes but for how long? we are a flash in the pan sadly, one or two injuries and we are well and trully fooked. Wellbeck don't make me laugh we have seen the last of him till next season, Diaby mark 2

On one hand you don't seem too happy playing kids on the other hand you don't seem to happy playing first teamers.

I think you just wouldn't be happy.

I understand you're thick. I get that. But its a bit sad that every f***ing concept has to be spelled out to you.

If you're going to get knocked out in the Micky Mouse Vase then at least use the opportunity to play fringe and youth players.

Getting gang banged AND using Cech, Mertesacker, Giroud and Walcott is moronic.

Clear enough for you? Or do you need more attention?

I don't I want to win everything
I am dissapointed that we are out but I understand entirely why he picked the team that he did last night
However there is nobody to blame but wenger for the squad being thin at the moment

Fair enough. Never like going there because they are always up for it. And we were in such good form. Don't like changing anything when we are in form.
