I would take a draw, I think that's respectable.

It's a shame though since we have come a long way since we could legitimately believe that we could beat anybody. Back in 2011, I genuinely believed we could take on the greatest club side of all time (Barca '11) and we did and we beat them so beautifully at home.

United fans were ridiculing me back then saying how we had no chance but we had players like RVP, Fabregas, Nasri etc. who- if you remember- brushed aside every big team including Man City, Chelsea and United in the Premier League. That 2011 side was a tough side that deserved a trophy.

We have a better win percentage this season than we did in 10/11

Knew we'd win this. It's just so Arsenal isn't it? Thought we did a proper job on them. We knew exactly what we were doing. Not like against Barcelona, where we have hung on for dear life. We let Bayern have the ball because we knew we can rip it up on the counter

Only thing I have to say is whilst he wasn't bad as such, Walcott was really frustrating in the game. His end product was laughable, if he'd just kept his head we could have scored a couple more.

tbh any other goalie and he would have had his name on the score sheet with that header.

Then, I look at the scoreline and realise how much he exaggerated our game

What because he said we had created the 2 best chances of the 1st half
Because he was urging people to cut out the negativity
Some were behaving as though bayern were in front
Because he was pleased that havng set up poorly in our previous champions league matches we had approached this game in a much better fashion
This was the story at half time or his opinion at least
An arsenal fan pleased that his team were puting in a shift
And the problem is?
We are gunners

Crap.

Dreading Arteta minutes.

I know Ox will be his direct replacement but that also leaves the door open for Arteta .

Wasn't that the team doing perfectly well until the red card :dontknow: Ozil flopping at the pen otherwise we'd have been winning.
