So we pick 2 teams to win this round
Then we pick two other teams to win the next round
And last round we pick again.

And if any of the picks are wrong we're out?

Exactly. Any of your selections lose/draw your out & you can only pick a country once from round 1-3.

Try to safely get to Round 2 and worry about the harder choices then or play the long game??

This.

I like the idea and I'm in but I think if you chuck in 2 wildcards each for a draw in any game and any round (including teams you've picked) it might make it a little easier and last longer.

There's a lot of tough games.

Get me?

Yeah I was thinking that it would be best to have all teams up for selection again after the groups.

Most likely the favourites of the groups will all get through and the poorer teams in the groups wont even win a game and you have to pick the favourites - which would leave you with no teams to pick after the groups.

Wildcards would be too hard to officiate & it has to have some level of difficulty to have a last man standing - how about being allowed to select a fixture for a draw but you are allowed to use those teams again - but if their is winner in the fixture your out?
