Wasn't a bore fest tbh. I enjoyed it, but I think that might be to do with Xhaka/Sweepstake.

Was alright in parts but yh think you got them Swiss coloured specs on mate :P

Was to be expected really, Switz could've gambled n really gone after top spot for an upset but they didn't know Romania were going to choke, a draw puts Switz exactly where they'd expect to be and same for France = 0-0.

These euros are outshitting the 2010 world cup. Didn't think it could get much worse than that.
The 2014 group stages were what I was hoping this tournament could be like.

The only team I'm remotely impressed with is Spain at the minute and that's only because of Iniesta

Italys performance v Belgium best so far. Didn't watch v Sweden.

Spain and Germany boring as f**k although morata looked good v Turkey.

No team stand out

Croatia have been playing some good football as well, not consistently but Modric and Rakitic have definitely been running the show for their country. Despite his dad's passing, veteran Darijo Srna has been very good as well, missed chances aside.

Yeah, I thought Spain were an absolute joy to watch for the first hour against turkey.
That's about it though, after that we are looking at the likes of Slovakia and Croatia in order to catch the odd glimpse here and there of something watchable.
Think we all need to start watching Chile tbh, play a fantastic brand of unorthodox attacking football and just beat mexico 7-0 in the Copa lmao. Have had a real soft spot for them since brazil 2014.
Chile vs Colombia in the semi should be an absolute barnstormer!

I think it's been okay overall, one of the issues is this 3rd place malarky. There's no real pressure to even get more than 3 draws for any team in the group and once you get a win you can be pretty sure to be in the next round.

Make it top 1 goes through and it'll be more interesting.

Has disappointed me this tournament so far, been bored a lot. I do think the 3rd team thing is partly responsible. It does make teams play more defensive. It is great that some of theses teams are getting to play here when normally they would not. Though but it should not be Uefa responsibility in doing this. Match quality has suffered big time. Same thing is going to happen in the knockouts seeing as the group winners play the 3rd team. Utter mess. Germany have been a utter bore

They had the third team thing in the world cups not too long ago so I don't mind it too much.

It's just teams playing shit football. Spain have to take the blame for the pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass shit teams play.

And Greece for the defensive shit.

When did they do the third team thing in the world cup? First one I watched was 98 but was still quite young.

I agree with Spain, you can not knock it really as it has been the revolution for a underachieving nation but yeah it is not one that excites me, slow and too careful.

I've seen every world cup since the 30s.

They had it in the 90 and 94 world cups.

Think 86 as well.

Switzerland's new Arsenal midfielder Granit Zhaka had to change his shirt twice during the match in Lille, while ordinary-looking tussles also left striker Breel Embolo and forward Admir Mehmedi with gaping rips in their PUMA kit.
"I hope PUMA doesn't produce condoms," Switzerland winger Zherdan Shaquiri quipped in an interview with Swiss newspaper Blick.
