Does anyone else think that the tournament logo looks like a cross between the Korean ying-yang symbol and the flag of china?

Excuses out early then? What about the strikers that aren't at the Euros? Lacazette, Higuain, Aubameyang all play in Europe.

Granted, Lacazette is far from world class but he's an option for us. The other 2 are unrealistic but should still be at the top of our shopping list

What are everyone's opinion on the quality of the tournament so far? I have been slightly disappointed with most of the games, not held my attention that much. Also no team has really impressed me so far apart from spain tonight . Still early days of course. Theses tournaments always hot up in the knockouts.

Copa America >>> Euro 2016 all day. Euro players look like they're all trying to avoid injury. Copa players look like they are trying to win something.

Yeah, even in Cricket - Lara was a lot more aesthetically pleasing than Sachin.

That is what I have been doing. Does not change how I feel about this current format.

So, as it stands:

- Group A: France, Switzerland, Romania
All FRA and SWI need is a draw--Romania will pull through.

- Group B: England, Wales, Slovakia
Slovakia will be tricky for England, so Wales could still top the group.

- Group C: Germany, Poland
Can't see NI beating Germany or even drawing.

- Group D: Spain, Croatia, Czech
Can see a draw between Spain and Croatia, with Czech Rep. getting into the, "best 3rd placed team," category.

- Group E: Italy, Belgium
Nothing much to say. Sweden are poor, and I can't see that changing against Belgium.

- Group F: Iceland, Hungary, Portugal
Toughest to call even right now. Hungary will likely draw against Portugal and Iceland will see off Austria. GD will come into play.

Hence..

- Switzerland vs. Poland
- Spain vs. Portugal
- England vs. Romania
- Iceland vs. Belgium
- Germany vs. Slovakia
- Italy vs. Croatia
- France vs. Czech Rep.
- Wales vs. Hungary

Why the f**k were the threads merged here ?!

Would have understood if you put the discussion about the violence from the group stage threads into it tbh but now it's kind of a mess imo

#GoonersWorldExcuses
- Their goalkeerper had the game of his life
- We should have had 10+ penalties .. shit ref
- If long term injured player xyz would have been available we would have won easily
