Silva.

They're neck-to-neck, but Silva is more of a game-changer than Ozil. I'm only talking about their PL careers, btw.

The best #10 in the world discussion is futile because there aren't many great #10s left. Iniesta is past it. He's still a big game player, but has been average for most part of two seasons.

Fabregas hasn't been a #10 since he left us and even then - at #10 - Ozil > Cesc. Gotze and Hames haven't been as instrumental for their new clubs.

And, Cazorla isn't better than Ozil as a #10. So, who else could be named for contention? Rooney plays as a #10 for ManU, but he's hardly at his best any more.

The position is changing. Strachan was speaking a lot regarding Kevin De Bryune being the evolution of the the number 10. before number 10's where all about passing, drifting into spaces to create and had no defensive obligations, now its becoming the opposite where number 10's are almost wha you would call central wingers, all action attacking players with a little bit of everything.
