Whereas Ramsey and Ozil have an excellent partnership

AW...

Yeah ramzil is good stuff. Why did he break it up?? What is ramsey doing outwide. So many things wrong with this season 90% is self sabotage from the manager.

One of the big issues we had is that Coquelin did not show up today, bar some good spells in the second half. He did not boss the midfield with tackles and interceptions as he usually does. This left Cazorla completely exposed, and he bottled it. And Alexis, usually so good on counters, was awful today.

We actually could have got a cheeky win if Giroud applied himself better. Aside from the good two or so chances he had, he could have also played Walcott clean through in the last minute and completely missed it.

I wouldn't might seeing Santi on the wing. He's still an excellent player, but it's not so easy for him to show it when he has to run up and down the pitch all day and spend half his time defending.

Well that what a cm has to do here. No dick around doing twirls, bottling it with percentage passes, passing creative responsibility on to dm.
We dont need him on the pitch unless he's sub and we got injurys. I dont care for the spanish aethestic fetish love in.

Is he betetr than cm options no
Is he better than the wide options no.
Is he better than ozil no.

He needs to stay on the bench and be a roatation player. If we play this shitty team selection at wembley we are in serious trouble.

Who would you play ahead of him on the wing?

This a joke ox,theo, sanchez, campbell, bellerin, poldi. His place is rotation bench player thats it.

What attributes do those players have that make them more qualified to play on the wing for us?

Surprised not more people are making more of the impact that Coq playing poorly had on the game, especially the first half.

Santi was much worse than Le Coq, imo. Coquelin did his job defensively

Giroud up top.

One of Cazorla or Ozil play in the hole.

Sanchez or Ox on the left.

Theo or Ox on the right.

Coquelin as DM

One of Wilshere or Ramsey alongside Coquelin.

Come on we cant be explaining the basics of positions you can read the book for this. But laymans terms

They are trained forwards their instincts is to score goals.Whilst santi will just twirl around and pass it,stand still go into a position that does not trouble defences, positions that do not get him into goal scoring range. He would also pass instead of shoot in a dangerous area similar to what ozil does frequently. There's a whole bunch of other stuff but its obvious if you play the game & watch it enough.

I can see Wenger being loyal to the players who produced alotta results. But I can also see that some of the commentary here seemed to bear fruit once the subs were made. Or were MU just gassed?

As long as Ramsey out on the wings is dead after this game, then the point was well worth it...
all we need is 2 points to secure no CL playoffs, that's basically in the bag.

There's quite a lot of build up play involved in scoring a goal you know...
It's not a coincidence that Cazorla was on the wing throughout our best form of the season.
