Ramsey on the right wing then? :)

This is probably the last match I'd want to see him on the wing. It's works at home because our pitch is quite narrow and small. He looked like a lost puppy at Wembley

As rusty as he's looked of late i'd still play Theo at RW.

Mourinho's team shape will be very organised as always and I can't really see us hit them on the break with only 1 pacy player in Alexis.

Would rather sacrifice some defensive stability and play Theo at RW to give us that extra outlet.

Playing 4-5 ball to feet midfielders will play into Mourinho's hands whereas fielding Theo gives him and his team something extra to think about.

Well, otherwise it would mean Santi on the right and I like him in the centre tbh. Theo offers no protection to his full back and Welbeck seems to be happier down the left wing and then drifting in. Hazard usually does hang about the left side of the pitch (our right). Having Ramsey there might offer some work rate down the right hand side. But I may be wrong :D

Ospina
Debuchy - Gabriel - Koscielny - Monreal
Coquelin - Ramsey
Bellerin - Ozil - Alexis
Giroud

The idea of playing both Debuchy and Bellerin is a good one and has so many postives from a paper point of view. We do regularly see out games on the left side with two LB on the pitch for the last 15 minutes - never seems to do it for the right.

Would you play Bellerin or Debuchy at right full back?

I wasn't very convinced by Debuchy's performance against Reading but one has to be fair and consider this was his first game since early January. Who should play? Very debatable imo:

+ Debuchy knows Hazard from his time at Lille
- Hazard knows Debuchy

+ Bellerín accelerates significantly quicker than Debuchy which could be useful stopping Hazard's burst/dribbling
- Bellerín is less experienced than Debuchy

Defensively neither Debuchy nor Bellerín are what you could consider as rock solid so have your pick

Pretty sure Wenger will go with Debuchy though

Bit of a dilemma that one, I agree. Defensively, Bellerin has looked suspect in all the "big" games, this year. But I remember his goal against Liverpool...

Not true. He was very good against City.

Quite like the idea of playing Bellerin and Debuchy. Not sure if Wenger would go through with it but he has to have thought of it, especially for this match up.

Think he'll go with debuchy for experience. Bellerin is more likely to give a penalty away.

Bourinho will bring out the bus and walcott won't have any space to run in behind so he becomes useless. He can try and make those quick off the ball movements but he'll get 'tactically' taken out by one of those plastic thugs and the refs will turn a blind eye to it as always.

I wish the OX was fit, he can do both and is much stronger than theo. Theo just looks light weight no matter how much muscle he puts on and is almost always getting pushed off the ball.

2 banks of four and play hector at rw so you can basically choke off hazard by sandwiching him with two fullbacks.

Playing no keeper and 10 players is more than a little creative tbh

Don't get your hopes up for Theo playing in this one. He is done and dusted here. Off to City, Liverpool or Southampton in the summer.

seriousmonkey wrote:Mourinho is a defensive t**t. Most probably he is going to set Matic to foul Ozil in order to disrupt our rhythm. But the fact that we are at home and our awesome form pushes me to believe we'll nick a win this time out. Same team as the last league game please!

Spot on. Also he rates Ozil very highly, expect him to be put to ground on every opportunity. But the real thug in their team is Ivanovic, he fouls millions of time and gets away with just a yellow for the match.
