Rewatching the goals. That power and height on the Alexis shot is sublime.

There's nothing quite like a win over Liverpool. :arse fan:

That was more like it. Those four goals were magnificent and it's about time we did that to a big club. I always felt we were in control and even though I wasn't pleased that we gave away the penalty, the team didn't panic. I just wish there was some way we could do this well consistently.
There's David O'Leary and big Willie Young, sending Rixy and Stapleton off on a run

Fair point, but I think rotating 3 players (Coq, Ramsey and Schneiderlin) over 60 matches (with subs) will work. If someone isn't happy about their playing time they can ask to leave and we can replace them; better to do that than to leave the squad thin and risk playing someone like Debuchy in defensive midfield, like we did earlier in the season with him in central defence.

If Gibbs had a GOAT start to the season and Wenger loaned out Monreal to ensure Gibbs got sufficient game time, we'd have been fcuked. We need two in each position if we're going to genuinely challenge for the tile and in Europe, and we can see how important the DM position is. There things are decided on thin margins - 1-1 against Leicester, 1-1 against Hull at home. Eliminate those by having the strongest possible squad and we could have a fantastic season from start to finish.

You're right, absolutely world class. Some of our link up play was phenomenal. Everything just clicked and now we have even more confidence.

Yes, i think the 'Double jeopardy' saved him. it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity, it was a foul, a penalty was enough in the ref's eyes.
