But then you have people like Addict & Deep Tech Goon who are claiming he's been poor today which clearly isn't the truth.

I have no problem with people criticising Özil's performances as long as there's a coherent explanation behind it. Sounds like you're actually capable of this unlike the other two I mentioned previously

Well I guess the mediocrity we keep seeing in our team has lowered your standards then, since you deem his today's performance against a relegation side "excellent". Well to each his own, I guess.

Also, if we don't change something, Utd are going to tear us a new one. I'm happy with the results we're getting, but we still have some big issues to deal with. We're struggling a lot and something about our play doesn't feel right.

I thought it was a 7/10 performance tbh, same with Santi really. Bellerin, Coquelin, Mertesacker & Gibbs before his multiple brainfarts the standouts for me.

We should absolutely play on the counter against United, if Walcott doesn't start I'll be shocked.

There is no way Walcott starts against Utd or Monaco if he didn't play tonight, it makes no sense to do it in that way.

Wenger is clearly freezing him out of the club. I'll be shocked if he starts.

Is it just me or did Ozil's body language and work rate seem alot better tonight?

Adapting to the occasion should mean a front 4 of:

Walcott - Özil - Alexis
Welbeck

We need pure pace and play on the counter against United away. Especially with their tedious Denilson type passing game

Yeah, I shouldn't have to keep saying it but you know what most people on this forum are like. He had a really good game.

Ozil was really good today.

Bellerin was f***ing excellent. Hard to believe Hes a kid that came from reserves at times. Looks like he fits straight in.

Ospina did well again.

Coq ballin like his nose wasn't broken.

Giroud kept the scoring run going.

My main gripe was the lack of concentration for the goal but other than that, they tried to bully us physically and we were having none of it.
