Ospina and Giroud, the players that annoyed me the most against Monaco have done well. I hope that game was just a bleep. Was afraid that they never recover from those nightmare performances.

hes consistently the most underrated player in our squad. Every time he comes on he's much more lively and creative than any of our midfielders. I love watching him.

I don't think many here underrate Rosicky, it's just he doesn't play often so doesn't get as many mentions. Great player, hope he starts vs QPR

I would start Gabe to and leaning to starting him for Monaco, unsure about against Utd

He is better than that sloth Mert, I hope he starts all the games now, he can't be any worse that TBFG

I hope Coq will be fit for QPR and United. Don't fancy Chambers or Flamini starting as DM.

Thing is, while Özil is on and playing on the midfield, Cazorla has trouble moving the ball around, cause he has a teammate that doesn't move at all and with him, another opposite player using up more space.
At the same time, Sanchez stops getting balls so he, as a (sometimes mindless) hard worker he is, comes down to tackle, recover balls, etc... Which uses up even more space in the midfield, making it harder to Cazorla as well. As long as Özil stays there, Cazorla, Sanchez and even Giroud will be isolated.

Özil needs way more space for his playstyle than Arsenal is used to having, so he tends to play awful, even though he is indeed talented (which shows when he manages to still make a few assists, even when he's being terrible).

We should drop Ozil for Rosicky. It's actually quite easy. We would win on both ends of the pitch.

Agreed. Anyone who thinks Ozil had a great game because of 2 assists clearly didn't actualy watch the game.

No it was because of a deflection...I can do the same thing. 2 assists are better than any other player on the pitch.

No, it was a streaker who ran on the pitch to pass the ball to Rosicky

The excuses people make to hate on Özil are more ridiculous than the excuses I make to defend him tbh

The stats are there ffs, don't ignore them because you have an agenda (a shit one at that).

No not all Ozil but it was a very nice pullback that's for sure. Not many players would've given it, they would've held on and waited until players got into the box. Good pass.
