Is Theo only starting now against weak opposition when we are at home? Seems that way.

It's because he doesn't track back and he's lazy, when chamberlains back I expect him to take Welbeck's spot outwide.

Think Wally will start agianst Monaco.
While I rate Ox can't see him being preferred over Walcott consistently. Wally has much more to offer us at the moment imo.

No Theo makes no sense for me. He needs match fitness and he is by far our best RW option. Hopefully he starts against Monaco.

This. Palace's main threat comes from their wingers. We need Sanchez and Welbeck to track back to help Monreal and Chambers out. Walcott wouldn't do that.

Freaking Welbeck. I'd love to see his contract in detail

This is also another reason. He's not quite there with the fitness yet and with Monaco coming up in the week, Wenger is probably saving him for that.

We already have Ozil, Sanchez and Cazorla playing. Walcott would be overkill. Welbeck brings balance to this team. We are gonna be under pressure for quite a bit of this game, seeing as Palace are at home. Welbeck will help us deal with them much better than Theo would. Theo will be vital off the bench if we need him.

Not relishing the battle between Bolasie and Chambers. His performance against Montero still gives me nightmares.

Looks like Palace are going 4-4-2 with Campbell and Gayle up top. That means we should outnumber them in midfield and Ozil and Cazorla should be able to dictate the play. For that reason, I'm going for a hefty 4-1 win to the Arsenal with Alexis at the double, Giroud and Walcott with one each and Gayle nicking one on the break for them.

Think that's why Welbeck is starting ahead of Walcott. Just to help Chambers out against Bolasie.

Yes, agree with that. Also I think Wenger is hoping Welbeck gets a lift by scoring or at least having a good game. Like all attacking players so much is about confidence and Welbeck definitely needs a lift.
