If we don't get up for this it will be another Capital One Bradford-esque result, we really can't afford to take this game as a given after what they did to Chelsea, if we are up for it we win, simple.

Anyone else actually missing Welbeck up front?

No? :tumbleweed:

Well I am, I think he needs a game or two upfront, Giroud has been averaging a goal every other game, if Welbeck did that people would be screaming "sell him back to Utd".

Wouldn't mind him up top against Boro.

He should get at least a half.

Whole point of getting him was to rotate with Giroud, we won't miss either of them anyway Ozil's doing all the goal scoring atm. ;)

Bellerin Gabriel Koscielny Gibbs
Coquelin Rosicky Santi
Walcott Welbeck Ozil

Would love to see Gabriel start or at least feature, Akpom too.

I'd swap Ozil's position with Rosicky or have them rotating wide to central but other than that ....... I approve this message.

I'd also like Welbeck get a game upfront after Girouds last two disappointing outings.

We've got to be wary of Boro. They are on fire in the Championship at the moment and have won their last 6 matches including the FA cup tie v City. No matter what team we put out it's going to be tough regardless.

I'd like to see Gabriel make his debut though.

Szczesney

Bellerin Gabriel Koscielny Gibbs

Rosicky Coquelin

Walcott Ozil Cazorla

Welbeck

It's a shame Chambo is still out because we could do with giving Cazorla a breather. Depending on how the game is going, hopefully we'll be able to bring on Akpom for some more game time and push Welbeck out to the left. Not too sure whether Rosicky will start considering he played last night but i'd much rather him over Flamini to be honest.

Im going to predict 2-0 to us.

Middlesbrough have won their last six; lost once in 19 games dating back to October; let in three goals in 10 games dating back to Xmas.

Impressive form currently.

Lets hope we play like we are capable of which will be enough to see us into the next round.

Boro are a good team.

It's the equivalent of playing a low caliber prem team
