Spurs winnig the NLD with at least four homegrown players (homegrown on english standards of course) in the starting 11.
Harry Kane, Ryan Mason, Danny Rose and Nabil Bentaleb

What a time to be alive ..

They sold bale for £86 million, Modric for £40million.

Don't get your point ?!

What Tottenham had was two die hard spurs fans compared to us who only had Mertersacker who not as good as he was. Jack is injured and Gibbs was on the bench.

I wouldn't go that far...

"The pace of the premier league" Lol... How about go back to the fundamentals which include keeping the ball away from the opposing teams striker?

or how about Merts and Koc staying beside the opposing teams striker at a corner.

Or how about Merts/Koc jumping up in the air when a cross comes over in the 86th Minute instead of making a pretence of jumping?

Honestly, the mind boggles at times about scapegoating players at Arsenal!

BOTH goals were down to poor defending. Kane was free for the first goal at a corner, from before the corner was taken. I suppose Ospina should have been marking him, whilst saving the ball from the first effort...

Unfortunately Ospina picked a bad game to have a bad game...!

He hasn;t become a bad keeper however.

Whereas, Merts and Koc have reverted to the type of Keystone cops performance that I had hoped had disappeared with the arrival of Ospina. Both of them were very poor yesterday.

Twenty chances created by Spurs - yep Ospinas fault for that...!! :rofll: :rofll:

All round it was a dreadful outfield performance yesterday.

Virtually no chances created all day. and again, big ticket players went missing when they were needed!!

it was inevitable that Spurs would eventually win a game against Arsenal. It just hurts that it's put them in the CL frame ahead of us now.

he was still a spurs fan, he had to do it because he was at arsenal at the time. It happens all the time in north london, you have arsenal fans playing for spurs and vice versa, tim sherwood and defoe where both gooners despite playing for spurs.

Another big game we failed to show up for. No excuse not to be motivated for this game.

I'm sure Arsene will come up with a few if we wait long enough.

Right! And I can take losing, but I can't take losing like that, in a big game against our most hated rival where we acted like we didn't even want to be there. We got dominated by a mediocre team, but I guess that has been a not so uncommon occurrence for a while now.
