Diving is cheating. Cynical foul isn't.

Wenger in his post press conference.

"If you love football, you love Rosicky"

That's pretty much sig worthy.

You get punished don't you?

No one gets away with a cynical foul. You do with diving.

Yeah a cynical fould a recognition of a bad situation and being willing to take a yellow to stop it. You know you're getting caught for it and punished.

A dive is trying to con the ref into giving something you weren't able to get through skill.

Worlds apart imo.

That's why at a similar age Rosicky is playing captain for Arsenal and Neville is sitting on a fkin sofa talking.

Its called gamesmanship, entertainment, I think we all know as a character Rosicky isn't a flash tw*t he's as solid as they come.

What the hell does Neville think of Brazilian football then? he'd want to take an Uzi to the National team I take it?

What I've learned this weekend is that some peoples opinions are just not worth sh*t quite frankly.

Players often get away with cynical fouls or a 'talking to', thought Brighton got let off with a few today but could be wrong. Both are part of the game it's just double standards how one is applauded while the other is hounded.

Exactly.

It's part of the reason why Wayne Rooney generally has a good disciplinary record when the whole world knows he's a petulant thug.

Well I guess Wenger didn't love football for the first half of the season, then.

Rosicky was inexplicably underused.

I'll be genuinely disappointed if we don't see that as a banner for him in the Emirates in the next few weeks. Great quote.

13th of May 2012 Arsenal beat West Brom 3-2 to finish 3rd ahead of Newcastle. Gooney is still yet to leave the forum...

Bellerin is much better in most aspects - as a RB anyway.

Chambers has been underwhelming - slow and weak in the air - needs much honing.

Chambers as a FB is a no go for me. DM and backup CB is where his future lies.

No, not always, just the same as diving you don't always get away with it.

I mean, I partially agree in that I think diving is worse but both are pretty much in the same bracket.
