Giroud is probably the most frustrating Arsenal player I've ever seen.

average performance. Very poor in the air defensively.

We looked good with a dribbler, i.e. Chamberlain, in midfield. So much more direct, dynamic, and dangerous.

I figured out the issue with Giroud.

He is a very good player, his problem is that if the team is playing poor he does not have anything to create a moment. I think he is actually a wonderful striker but he needs the players around him to offer a threat otherwise he can be easily marked out of a game.

Today the team offered him support and we had threats all over the pitch which played into his hands.

Flamini, ox, bellerin, gibbs, and debuchy was 5 of our last 6....we were always gonna be vulnerable today. Today was all about outscoring them and getting the 3 points. We have to sign a CB to play with Kos

Even though they've played together recently, a part of me thinks it's because Giroud actually has competition now from Welbeck.

Decent-ish performance, great result.

Santi MOTM for me. And boy, Bellerin looks to have a really good future ahead of him. More so as a winger than a RB though.

Important three points and a good performance overall. I thought Bellerín in particular was outstanding, especially going forward. Very talented lad we've got here. Debuchy as well was very good in an unfamiliar position and showed composure. In midfield, Chamberlain was a bit erratic but he drove the team forward and caused them problems with his pace through the middle. Cazorla did well on his birthday and got two good goals and so did Alexis, who got two fine assists. Giroud and Welbeck combined well up-front and the frenchman showed terrific technique in the second goal - outstanding finish.

All in all a good performance and very pleased with the three points.

I have to commend him, Flamini had a very good game today. Bellerin was amazing, this guy is gonna develop into a right sided Jordi Alba who is better defensively.

Cazorla was amazing, Giroud was great too. All in all a very pleasing performance.

I'll reserve judgement on Bellerin as a RB until I see him up against it vs a top team, we need a RB who can defend as well as go forward, today we had everything going our way.

However his offensive play is already evident, the guys a great little player.
