depressing that he can say in advance how he is gonna approach the match with no fear of us adapting

make sure you post this again after we win...

looked back over the thread...
still waiting on you to repost that link & tell us how depressed you are.

Lol so another win for 4-2-3-1 in less than a week, but if Wilshere was fit back to 4-1-4-1 we'd go, Wenger's lost it.

Anyway, so Welbeck's relegated to the wing to make way for Wenger's boyfriend, that wasn't predicted was it.

How did Giroud play?

I'd argue it was a 4141 again tbh, Santi started quite deep and Ramsey was a bit further up than the usual 2nd DM spot. Thought Santi & Welbz were different gear today.

I don't actually think Ramsey was that bad today and his first half performance was one of the best he's put in all season. He played a great ball through to Welbeck and was generally putting himself about pretty well. He waned a bit in the second but I think it was a step in the right direction for him.

I'm pretty sure at the end he was just clearing it, not shooting. He might have had options but he was being closed down by defenders so naturally he just wanted to get rid.

Giroud put himself about quite well and linked up with Welbeck. Solid but nothing special.

Also, I don't know if it really was a 4-2-3-1. Welbeck, Giroud and Alexis popped up everywhere so there was no real set formation. Cazorla drifted wide as well.

Was definitely a 4-2-3-1 set up at the start at least. Welbeck managed to get Giroud to bugger off to either wing sometimes and take the ST spot which was good to see. Worked well...le shocker.

We have no real definitive shape when on the attack as everyone interchanges but it was definitely a 4-1-4-1 when playing defensive. We fell back into two banks of 4.

think its a bit harsh on the keeper to say he should have saved that header it was like a bullet he was going slightly the wrong way and did well to get a hand on it

Giroud was as you'd expect. Ineffectual. Genuinely forgot he was playing at one point as I thought Welbeck was our lone striker then they showed Giroud and I was like oh yeah he's playing.

I know they aren't stupid and will have an idea but we need all the confidence we can get at this club. I know we've said we need to do something so i'm glad they actually made the effort but show it during half time not when the players come over to clap the fans.

If they care for him in any way, it should strengthen their resolve to do better for him if anything.

giroud's bound to be a bit rusty he had trouble with his first touch in the first half
he just needs a few games under his belt and is bound to improve

Ignoring the fact that I don't want Wenger as our manager anymore.

I thought Ramsey played really well today, much improved, come on son get back to your best.

Im not Cazorlas biggest fan but he was quality.

Good to see Kos back, did ok.

Good win and also great to see the 'WENGER OUT' banner at the end of the match. Fans need to make it clear we need change to push forward.
