Szczesny
Chambers - Mertesacker - Monreal - Gibbs
Arteta - Ramsey
Chamberlain - Rosicky - Podolski
Giroud

Welbeck and Alexis need a breather - especially the latter - and we've some tough games coming up in the PL so we should rotate a bit for this game. Give Rosicky and Podolski some game time - I'm sure they will be full of energy and up for it. Sanogo is too inexperienced for this kind of games so I believe Giroud - given that he's fully fit - should be starting up-front (gotta build on his amazing goal). The rest of the team picks itself (I'd like to see Wilshere instead of Ramsey, but he think he won't be available for this).

Ew Cazorla starting? I've defended the guy lately but cmon he's got 0 confidence and keeps losing the ball too much. He needs a proper break and hopefully can recover some form over the christmas period when we will need to rotate.

Dortmund will have an easy win here. Yes they are 15th in their league and only has 3 league wins with -5 in goal differenece. But teams in Germany sits back and dont allow them any space and know them tactically very well. Here they will counter us to death

Wilshere will be out and Rosicky is so damn rusty I wouldn't bring him back for such a big game. I wouldn't have Santi starting either but we need some creativity in the middle.

I thought we've already qualified? Why are we playing our first team? There's no way we'll finish first

We need a point to qualify.

If we lose this we'll have to avoid defeat in Turkey to guarantee passage into the knockout stage; playing Galatasaray away in our current form could be very sticky so it's better to try and secure the needed point at home.

We need a point as Vava elucidated and we also need to get back into winning ways, which I doubt we'd against Dortmund but we have to pose a threat. Against Gala, I'd rest all and start the likes of Bellerin, Martinez, Flamini, Campbell, Rosicky, Sanogo, and sadly Podolski by the looks of his status under Wenger. Something like:

Martinez
Bellerin - Mertesacker - Ajayi - Monreal
Flamini - Rosicky
Campbell - Cazorla - Podolski
Sanogo

Galatasaray's form isn't great either. We've just lost 3-0 at home.
