We let them mug us! As for Wilshite will be ever use his right foot? That's why he missed from close range: it needed a right foot tap in. But he's too damned I imaginative to try even from 6 yards!
Pathetic!
Arsenal are pathetic !
They will be relegated!

Still would rather he didn't ref our games but can't really criticise him today.

One thing I hadn't noticed until afterwards was that Fellaini pushed Gibbs straight into Szczesny for their opener. It was a definite foul but he missed it. He should have sent Jack off though as well.

Poor performance but he didn't cost us the match, we did that ourselves.

didn't notice this till after myself looked a foul.

although what was chezny doing there in the first place? he should just let feilani beat gibbs to the ball and stay put.

The tackle from Mcnair on Wilshere was arguably a red card and not even a free kick given! I think I was the only one who saw this! it did happen pretty fast...

Mcnair was unbelievable today given his lack of experience and physicality

Nope, said McNair should've been a red. Then again so should Wilshere before that even happened.

Die Maria was also a snappy little bell at the end of the game and was lucky to get nothing.

@18:24, anyone think the incident involving Shaw and Wilshere should have been a penalty? 1st shout for the tackle; 2nd shout for a handball. For the 2nd shout notice how the ball skips up as Shaw slides past the ball.

Oh yeah that was one of those 'foul anywhere else' tackles.

Goes down far too easily tbh. Not a penalty.

United confirmed an incident, understood to involve red wine, took place but are happy with how Arsenal dealt with the situation and will not be making a complaint.

A United spokesman said: "There was an incident after the first goal but Arsenal's staff and stewards acted quickly and professionally to it. Contrary to reports in today's media, we will not be making a complaint to the FA."

United substitute Darren Fletcher was involved in a heated exchange with fans behind the opposition bench following the incident.

An Arsenal spokesman said: "A male was arrested at the stadium for throwing an object towards the Manchester United bench after the first Manchester United goal.

Former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had previously complained about the visitors' dug-out at the Emirates being "too open" and not providing adequate protection for his players and staff.
