They haven't been great either though. Could be a really tough game for both clubs. Is it a point difference in the prem between us?

You just know RVP is going to get over his scoring slump against us with Di Maria having a worldie. If/when we get battered, the atmosphere is going to make that post-match atmosphere after the home Villa game last season look tame...

With how shit both defences are, it should be pretty high scoring. As 22-0 said though, it's a lose-lose situation.

Anyway, this is my team:

Szczesny
Bellerin Chambers Monreal Gibbs
Arteta Wilshere
Theo Alexis Poldi
Welbeck

Di Maria vs Chambers is a disaster waiting to happen, so i'm going with Bellerin for his athleticism.
Fatal Descent
Spinning around
I've gone too far
To turn back round

Desperate attempt
Stop the progression
At any length
Lift this obsession

Yes, just 1 point.

It's a must win for both teams but Christ, I'm dreading this one. If we play how we have been, we will get torn a new one. Despite their form, we can rarely put in a good shift against a "top" team.

On the one hand, they'll have Rooney, RVP and Di Maria playing against the inexperienced Chambers, out-of-form Mertesacker and a left-back playing in the centre. On the other hand, we've Welbeck, Walcott/Chamberlain and Alexis against McNair, Smalling and Valencia.

Should be a fun one.

According to the (perceived) majority of the forum in the "Domestic Football Area" van Gaal is doing a shit job and is performing worse as Moyes so beating them can't be counted as a success it's rather a duty to beat that weak side.

(Personally I don't agree I think van Gaal is doing a good job so far but what do I know)

#GoonersWorldExcuses
- Their goalkeerper had the game of his life
- We should have had 10+ penalties .. shit ref
- If long term injured player xyz would have been available we would have won easily

Both defences are shit.

Will go down to who scores more.

They have RVP, Rooney and Falcao.

We have Welbeck.

We're f***ked.

When was the last time we did beat them?

The 1-0 at the Emirates, Ramsey scoring when they had the title more or less wrapped up already so didn't give a shit?

When's the last time we beat them in a meaningful game?
